WESTBROOK, Maine (AP) — A large snake believed to be lurking along a riverbank in Maine doesn't appear to be a fan of Donald Trump.

In a Twitter account created for a snake dubbed Wessie P. Thon by local residents, the snake says it would like to give the Republican presidential nominee a "really long hug."

The reptile created a media sensation when it was seen earlier this summer eating a beaver along a riverbank in Westbrook. Officials believe the reptile is likely a constrictor or a python.

The discovery of a 10-foot snakeskin a week ago indicates it's still around. Law enforcement officials are warning residents to be on the lookout.

The Boston Globe (http://bit.ly/2bgcIJB ) reports a Westbrook public works employee says he saw the snake slithering along near the river on Tuesday.
