FOOTBALL LAND — College football is days away now and we're now at the point where most of us would love to be put into some kind of deep sleep until kick off.

The anticipation is building so much at this point it's hard to focus on anything else, so we're here to help you out. It's a tough time considering all you really have to keep you busy is the Little League World Series and a painful NFL preseason.

In an effort to keep you focused on what's important, college football, here are three videos, one from BYU, Utah and USU that will hopefully keep you from seeking out medical assistance in keeping you sedated until next week.

BYU

The official BYU athletics website, BYUCougars.com, has started a series called, "Looking Back."

The latest entry is a conversation with BYU great and NFL Hall-of-Famer Steve Young as he recalls how he went from eighth-string QB to Consensus All-American.

BYU fans are hoping Taysom Hill will be able to channel some of the greatness the famous south-paw had, but you still have to wait another week to see how the kid from Idaho does.

Until then enjoy hearing about Young's biggest influences and QB-throwback play that secured a Holliday Bowl victory over Mizzou.

Utah

The University of Utah football team is facing what is arguably the toughest PAC-12 schedule to date and fans are ready to get underway.

This video comes from YouTuber Eric Harris and if this doesn't get the blood flowing through Ute fans veins nothing will.

The music, the visuals and the hard-hitting plays are exactly what we've been waiting patiently for the past seven months. Thanks Eric, I'm not sure if your video just made this last week that much easier or that much harder.

USU

Utah State has a chance to become a serious contender on the national stage this year with a tough schedule, a new conference and the best QB in the state.

Tog et you ready for the Aggies big season, USU football's YouTube channel has started releasing their "Mic'd Up" series. Nearly everyday you can get a taste of what players are hearing from coaches as they prep for the opener with Utah.

The video we posted is of defensive coordinator Todd Orlando. Other videos include co-offensive coordinator Luke Wells, special teams coach Dave Ungerer and wide receivers coach Jovon Bouknight.

If you're an Aggie you'll love the videos. If you're not, well, it's football so who cares?
