SALT LAKE CITY - Utah women's basketball players Michelle Plouffe and Taryn Wicijowski were named to the WNIT All-Tournament team following the conclusion of the tournament.
Over the six games of the tournament, Plouffe averaged 19.5 points and 13.8 rebounds with 10 steals. She had four double-doubles during the tournament and scored 20 points in four games with a tournament-high 26 points against Pacific. Plouffe set a WNIT record with 83 rebounds during the tournament. She had a career-high 19 rebounds at Pacific.
Wicijowski averaged 14.7 points and 9.3 rebounds with seven blocks in the WNIT. She shot .500 from the floor and 86 percent from the free-throw line. Wicijowski recorded double-doubles against Pacific and Kansas State and recorded a career-high 17 rebounds against KSU. She scored a tournament-high 23 points against San Diego and Pacific.
Utah finished its season 23-14, finishing as the runners-up of the WNIT.
