SALT LAKE CITY — The Jazz will make the biggest splash this free agency by signing the reigning championship game MVP.

Okay, not the NBA MVP, but the Summer League championship MVP Ian Clark. The deal will be a two-year deal by Jeff Zillgitt according to Clark's agent Bill Duffy.

Clark is an undrafted rookie from Belmont who stole the show at the Las Vegas Summer League. In the championship game playing for the Golden State Warriors he scored 33 points.

Clark helped the Warriors to the top-seed and a perfect 7-0 record in Las Vegas, averaging 12.4 points on 48 percent shooting, while shooting 48.5 percent from 3-point range.

Clark played with the Miami Heat in the Orlando Summer League so the Jazz saw him play in person. Clark is a combo-guard who shot 42 percent from beyond the 3-point line at Belmont.

Clark was a great shooter in college, legendarily great, shooting a 68.8 true shooting percentage his senior year. The true shooting is an advanced stat compilation of every shot taken. It is the 39th best season in college history.
