When Springville’s girls basketball team clinched the Region 8 championship with a win over rival Maple Mountain last Tuesday night, they did it with an assorted complement of players.
And one very special starter.
Quinton Hooker scored 22 points, Geno Crandall had 19, and Cortez Seales finished with 17 and North Dakota beat Weber State 77-68 to move a half-game ahead of the second-place Wildcats in Big Sky play.
