BOSTON (AP) — Shawn Occeus scored 24 points with four 3-pointers, Vasa Pusica added 17 points with three treys and Northeastern drained 12 of 25 from long range to defeat Towson 80-75 Thursday night, pushing its win streak to six games and securing its second-place finish in the Colonial Athletic Association.

Justin Gorham scored nine of his career-high 28 points in the last four minutes, bringing Towson as close as 71-68. Occeus hit a 3 and Bolden Brace made four of six free throws to close it out.

Brace and Gresham scored 10 each for Northeastern. Zane Martin and Eddie Keith II scored 11 apiece for Towson (18-12, 8-9).
