UC Riverside holds off CSU Fullerton 69-65 at foul line

RIVERSIDE, Calif. (AP) — Dikymbe Martin scored 19 points and UC Riverside maintained distance from CSU Fullerton by making 20 free throws in the second half for a 69-65 win over the Highlanders Wednesday night.

UC Riverside (8-19, 3-10 Big West) shot 21 of 28 from the foul line and was 22-of-55 shooting from the field. Brandon Rosser and Alex Larsson each scored 11 points, Rosser grabbed eight rebounds and Chance Murray scored 10.

CSU Fullerton (15-10, 8-5) led 33-27 at halftime before the Titans went on a 13-5 run to start the second half and led the rest of the way after Menno Dijkstra's 3-pointer made it 40-38 with 13:10 left. Jackson Rowe tied it at 44 but the Titans took control from the line and made 9 of 10 in the final 82 seconds.

Kyle Allman led the Titans with 20 points, Rowe scored 17 with 11 rebounds and Khalil Ahmad scored 11.
