NEW ORLEANS (AP) — Tulane University is looking for a new coach to head its women's volleyball program.

Athletics Director Rick Dickson, in a news release Tuesday, said that current coach Sinisa Momic has resigned, effective immediately.

Momic served seven seasons at the helm of the Green Wave program, compiling an 89-125 record. This past season, the Green Wave finished 10-22 overall and 4-16 in American Athletic Conference play. Momic's resignation comes after he was informed that his contract would not be renewed.

Dickson says the university will immediately begin a nationwide search to fill the vacancy.
