SALT LAKE CITY — We welcome back all the local teams this week, with the annual rivalry game between BYU and Utah dividing the state. But Utah State hopes to not be overlooked with a victory over Pac-12 opponent USC. All three teams will get a chance to do this in front of a national audience.
The rivalry game has the KSL Sports team divided, with BYU receiving a slight edge. However, Utah has owned the series as of late, winning the last three and four of the last five. Although BYU comes in as the favorite, the games are always close and unpredictable.
Utah State will travel to Los Angeles in hopes to get a victory over the up-and-down Trojans, who may lose their head coach Lane Kiffin. A win over the Trojans would establish Utah State as a formidable contender.
