Missing Herriman teen found safe

Hundreds of volunteers showed up in Herriman Thursday morning to help search for a 13-year-old girl who has been missing for more than a day. But the search was called off at 3:30 p.m. after a winter storm rolled into the Salt Lake Valley. The teen was later found safe.

A winter storm that began Thursday closed dozens of schools along the Wasatch Front Friday morning and made a mess of the morning commute.
