CASPER, Wyo. (AP) — Wyoming's governor says he wouldn't be interested in taking a job in Donald Trump's administration.

Mead has been governor of Wyoming since 2011 and says he is focused on Wyoming and his family. He has a son in high school in Cheyenne and a daughter in college in Laramie.

Mead tells the Casper Star-Tribune (http://bit.ly/2gJwPym ) he talked to Trump's transition team. Trump and his advisers haven't publicly named Mead as a contender for any jobs in the administration.

Mead says it would be good to have somebody from Wyoming as Interior secretary.

Outgoing Republican U.S. Rep. Cynthia Lummis says she had an hour-long interview with Trump.
