ORMOND-BY-THE-SEA, Fla. (AP) — A U.S. Marshal's task force has arrested a man in Louisville, Kentucky, who is suspected in the disappearance of his estranged wife in Florida.

Chief Deputy U.S. Marshal Brian Parrish said in a news release that 58-year-old Jarvis "Wayne" Madison was taken into custody on Friday.

Authorities say his 44-year-old wife Rachael Madison didn't return from a jog Sunday while staying with relatives in Ormond-by-the-Sea, which is near Daytona Beach. She'd been in Florida since Nov. 16. Investigators say Jarvis Madison called his wife's relatives inquiring about her whereabouts and had threatened to kill her aunt for hiding her.

Volusia County Sheriff's deputies told local news outlets earlier this week they are concerned for her well-being because of past incidents of violence. The couple lived in Indiana and Kentucky.
