WASHINGTON (AP) — Police have talked down a man who was climbing scaffolding at the National Cathedral.
Metropolitan police tell WUSA-TV (http://on.wusa9.com/1ToFjpD) the man was discovered early Thursday and was about 200 feet in the air for about an hour and a half.
Police treated the incident as a medical situation and managed to talk him down. The incident was resolved peacefully.
No charges have been filed in the incident.
