SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — Police are looking for two men who they say broke into a Utah home and attacked the homeowner with a knife.
Unified Police Lt. Lex Bell says the men broke into a home in Kearns just before 8 p.m. Sunday. According to authorities, a man was at home his 2-year-old daughter.
Authorities say the homeowner confronted the two intruders and one ran away. Bell says the other one pulled out a knife and got into a fight with the homeowner.
According to Bell, the homeowner received minor cuts on his arms and neck before the second man also ran off.
Bell says officers couldn't find the suspects when they arrived. Police are investigating.
