TWIN FALLS, Idaho (AP) — A Twin Falls County man who admitted to firing a gun during an argument with his wife and stepson is facing assault charges.
The Times-News reports (http://bit.ly/1TfydFA ) 55-year-old Michael Steven Duvall appeared in court last week. He has been charged with aggravated assault, domestic battery and discharging a firearm without injury.
Court documents say Duvall and his wife had started arguing at their Murtaugh home. The woman's son says he stepped in when the fight turned physical.
At some point, Duvall allegedly grabbed a handgun and then opened fire.
The woman was able to run away and says she heard more shots after leaving the home. No one was injured by the gunfire.
Duvall allegedly told deputies he only shot the gun outside the home.
