NEW YORK (AP) — Fire officials say a dozen people were injured when a New York City transit bus crashed into a home in Queens.
It happened around 9:30 p.m. Saturday in the neighborhood of Jamaica.
A spokeswoman for the Metropolitan Transportation Authority says the bus was traveling down Guy R. Brewer Boulevard when it collided with a car traveling the opposite direction.
The bus continued going and crashed into the front of a home at a nearby intersection.
The Fire Department of New York says 12 people were taken to various hospitals. A fire department spokesman says all of the injuries appear minor.
The accident remains under investigation.
