SPARKS, Nev. (AP) — Sparks police are looking for a bandit with one arm in a sling who robbed a bank in a grocery store near Red Hawk Golf Course.

Secret Witness announced Tuesday it's offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the man who made off with an undisclosed amount of money from the US Bank inside Raley's on Wingfield Hills Road.

Police say the robber entered the bank about 5 p.m. Monday and gave the teller a note that said he was armed and demanded cash.

The white man with the sling was in his mid-40s, with a shaved head or close-cut hair, wearing a dark-colored hat and glasses or sunglasses.

Anyone with information should call Sparks police at 775-331-2225 or Secret Witness at 775-322-4900.
