RENO, Nev. (AP) — A trial continues in Reno today over the semi-truck and train crash that killed six people in 2011. Lawyers for Amtrak and the Union Pacific Railroad say the truck driver is responsible for the collision at a rural crossing about 70 miles east of Reno. The trucking firm's lawyers argue Amtrak and Union Pacific failed to provide a proper signal warning. It's expected to be a six-week trial.

MIAMI (AP) — The number of people in Nevada seeking real estate licenses has grown by almost a quarter. The National Association of Realtors says its membership grew slightly last year after six straight years of declines. Experts warn that real estate is a tough profession and that many new agents quit before they sell a single house.

LAS VEGAS (AP) — Amateur footage shot after an afternoon downpour in southern Nevada captures the power of flash floodwaters. Doug Bennett says he was about 30 miles north of Las Vegas Monday afternoon when water started flowing over U.S. 95. Bennett's video shows a Ford sedan and a Prius struck by a wall of water before they floated downstream.

BOULDER CITY, Nev. (AP) — Officials at Lake Mead say they've found two bodies in the same areas where two men went missing on July 20. One has been identified as 25-year-old Las Vegas resident Irving Andrade-Yanez. The other body hasn't been identified. Rangers say the two missing men hadn't been wearing life jackets.
