Grain lower, livestock higher

CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures were lower Friday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for December delivery was 3.20 cents lower at $4.1120 a bushel; December corn was 12 cent lower at $3.5640 bushel; December oats was .40 cent higher at $2.3240 a bushel while November soybeans lost 1.60 cents to $10.1240 a bushel.

Beef higher and pork prices were higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

October live cattle was 2.25 cents higher at $1.0435 a pound; November feeder cattle was .65 cent higher at $1.2453 pound; December lean hogs gained .93 cent to $.4630 a pound.
