SALISBURY, Md. (AP) — The CEO of a Seaford, Delaware chicken producer and exporter has been hired to rejoin Perdue Farms Inc. as president of Perdue Foods LLC.
The Baltimore Sun (http://bsun.md/1O0njpx ) reports that the Salisbury-based company announced Thursday that Steve Evans will start his new job on May 31.
Evans has led Allen Harim Foods, a unit of South Korea's Harim Corp., since 2013. Prior to that, Evans had been with Perdue since 1985, most recently as senior vice president of sales and supply chain.
Perdue Foods packages and markets Perdue Farms' poultry under the Perdue, Harvestland and Coleman Natural Foods brands.
