Outlook

Scattered showers continue overnight north of Ogden and in the mountains. But most northern valleys will remain dry overnight. The next wave of moisture will start to slide south from the Idaho border starting around 5 am Saturday. Rain to a rain/snow mix in the valleys with the scattered showers. Snow levels will sit around 5,700 ft during the day on Saturday before falling to the valley floors overnight into Sunday morning, which will be the same time the storm wraps up. Most of Sunday will be dry. Same with Monday other than a few flurries. Highs will sit in the lower 40s and upper 30s this weekend and next week. Another light round of rain/snow mix for the valleys and snow in the mountains moves through Tuesday into Wednesday morning. Dan Guthrie - KSL Weather 12.9.2016
