SALT LAKE CITY — Three separate car fires created traffic delays along the Wasatch Front on Monday afternoon.
I-15 car fire in Davis County
Northbound I-15 has reopened near Parrish Lane in Centerville after a vehicle fire sparked a roadside grass fire.
All six lanes of the freeway were closed for about 10 minutes, but as of 3 p.m. all but the right lane had reopened, according to the Utah Department of Transportation. By 4:20 p.m., all lanes of northbound I-15 were open, according to a tweet from South Davis Metro Fire.

Drivers experienced heavy delays in the area of more than 15 minutes, UDOT said.
I-80 car fire in Salt Lake County
A car fire sparked on I-80 near the I-215 West interchange about 2:47 p.m. A driver hit a barrier on the road and flipped, which started a fire, according to Salt Lake Fire Capt. Tony Stowe.
The driver was extricated from the vehicle and transported to the University of Utah Hospital burn unit, Stowe said. He was not sure of the driver's medical condition.

As of 3:30 p.m., the fire has been put out, according to Stowe. It burned 2-3 acres, according to a tweet from Salt Lake City Fire Department.
I-84 car fire in Weber County
All lanes of westbound I-84 were closed near the U.S. Highway 89 junction at 4 p.m. in Weber County due to a car fire. All lanes were later reopened, according to UDOT's website.

Drivers were asked to seek an alternate route. Smoke was drifting across the roadway, according to the KSL Traffic Center's Rikki Meece.
