SALT LAKE CITY — A man suffered "significant injuries" after his arm got stuck in a machine at a Salt Lake City bakery Wednesday afternoon, officials said.

The man, who is about 50 years old, was transported to the University of Utah Hospital about 2:30 p.m. after the incident at Stone Ground Bakery, 1025 S. 700 West, Salt Lake City Fire Department Capt. Adam Archuleta said.

The man's arm was not amputated. Archuleta was unsure what kind of machinery caused the injuries.
