SALT LAKE CITY — Emmy and Tony Award-winning actress and singer Kristin Chenoweth will perform alongside the Tabernacle Choir at Temple Square during the choir’s annual Christmas concerts in December, choir officials announced Friday.

The concerts will be held Dec. 13-15 at the Conference Center.

Tickets will become available Saturday at 10 a.m. People will be able to request four tickets online through “My LDS Tickets” at lds.org/events. Tickets won’t be available in person or by phone, officials said.

Officials urged those looking for tickets to set up an account before they are available because tickets may be sold out in the time set up to create an account. About 60,000 people are expected to attend over the course of the three shows.

It will also be broadcast on PBS and BYUtv.

Chenoweth has won a Tony award for her performance in “You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown” and an Emmy award for “Pushing Daisies.” She’s also been nominated for awards for her roles in “Wicked,” “The West Wing” and “Glee.”

Her album “The Art of Elegance” also peaked at No. 14 on the Billboard Top 200 in 2016. She’s had three other albums chart, according to Billboard, and is working on another album to be released in 2019.

Both Ron Jarrett, the president of The Tabernacle Choir, and Mack Wilberg, music director for the Choir, raved about Chenoweth’s talents.

“Kristin Chenoweth is larger than life,” Jarrett said in a statement Friday. “I just hope the Conference Center can contain her performance. We have a very special concert planned to showcase her tour de force talents, which will ring in the Christmas spirit in an unforgettable way.”
