DRAPER — No major injuries were reported after a four-vehicle crash on I-15 caused some traffic delays for motorists Thursday morning.

Emergency crews responded to a report of a crash on I-15 northbound at 14600 South around 9 a.m. Utah Highway Patrol Sgt. Nick Street said a small SUV occupied by a man, woman and toddler had slowed down for traffic congestion when it was rear-ended by a silver passenger car.

The collision pushed the SUV into two vehicles ahead of it. The SUV ended up on top of the silver car, Street said.

A heavy rescue crew responded to the scene to secure the SUV before the driver and passengers were able to leave the vehicle. The two passengers were transported to Lone Peak Hospital with minor injuries, Street said.

No other injuries were reported. Street said it blocked three lanes on the freeway, but traffic has been able to go through three others lanes in the area.

Utah Department of Transportation officials said the crash caused delays for about 90 before it was cleaned up.

The crash remains under investigation.
