SOUTH SALT LAKE — Police confirmed a 67-year-old missing man with dementia was found Sunday evening.

James Wallace Patterson was found near Oxbow Park safe and well late Sunday evening, according to Gary Keller of the South Salt Lake Police Department. No more details are known at this time.

Police issued an “Endangered Missing Advisory” for Patterson after they say he walked away from the Little Cottonwood Rehabilitation Center at 3094 S. State Street around 11:00 Sunday morning, Keller said.

Keller said Patterson suffered from severe dementia.
