SALT LAKE CITY — Utah is getting ready to celebrate Pioneer Day Thursday with barbecues, parades, local festivities and plenty of fireworks. Here is a list of firework shows and celebrations across the state.

Unless noted, all events will be held on Pioneer Day, July 24.

Box Elder County:

Tremonton will have its firework show during the annual Tremonton City Days but on Saturday, July 26. The fireworks will begin at 10 p.m. at Stevens Park grass.

Weber County:

Ogden Pioneer Days will have a fireworks show after the rodeo and the coronation of 2015 Miss Rodeo Utah. The celebration will take place at the Pioneer Stadium Rodeo Grounds, 668 17th St.

Davis County:

Bountiful will have fireworks a day early in part of Handcart Days. The show will take place Wednesday, July 23, at approximately 9:45 p.m. at Mueller Park Jr. High (955 E. 1800 South).

Cache County:

Logan will have fireworks at 10 p.m. following a concert by Ryan Shupe & The Rubberband at Willow Park, located at 450 W. 700 South Logan.

North Logan celebrates Pioneer Day with fireworks at 10 p.m. at Elk Ridge Park, located at 1060 E. 2500 North. The fireworks will follow a showing of “Despicable Me 2” in the park beginning at 8:45 p.m.

Salt Lake County:

Cottonwood Heights’ Butlerville Days fireworks will go off at 9:45 p.m. at Butler Park located at 7500 S. 2700 East.

The Real Salt Lake will play the Montreal Impact on the 24th at Rio Tinto Stadium. The game starts at 8 p.m. and fireworks will follow.

The Rocky Mountain Raceways in West Valley will hold its fireworks shows on both Thursday and Saturday, July 26 after the races. The main event starts at 5:30 p.m. Thursday and at 7:15 p.m. Saturday.

Salt Lake City will have fireworks at Liberty Park beginning at 10 p.m. The show will follow the park’s Native American Celebration.

The Salt Lake Bees will also have fireworks after games on both on July 23 and 24. Both games begin at 6:35 p.m., and the fireworks will follow.

Trolley Square will hold a celebration beginning at 7 p.m. on the rooftop of Whole Foods. This free event will give people the chance to watch firework displays across the valley with food, free valet parking, family-friendly activities and music.

West Jordan will hold its Utah Pioneer Days with fireworks on July 24, 25 and 26. Each night the fireworks will go off at 10 p.m. at the West Jordan Arena following Merrill Osmond’s Youth Pioneer Pageant. Tickets to the event are $6.

Summit County:

Kamas Valley Fiesta Days will have fireworks on July 24, 25 and 26 following different events. On Thursday, there will be "Bull Wars’" before the fireworks. A rodeo will take place before the Friday fireworks, and on Saturday there is a demolition derby. Tickets to Bull Wars and the rodeo are $7, and the events begin at 8 p.m. The demolition derby is sold out.

Wasatch County:

Heber holds a unique celebration through Fiddlers and Fireworks. Watchers will board a train for a two-hour trip around the shores of Deer Creek Reservoir. The train will stop and watch the Charleston fireworks from across the lake. Tickets are $35 for adults and $20 for children and include dinner.

Charleston’s fireworks will set off at dark at 3300 S. 3600 West.

Utah County:

The Orem Owlz baseball game starts at 7:05 p.m. at Brent Brown Ballpark, and fireworks will follow the game. The Orem Owlz will be playing the Idaho Falls Chukars, and tickets range from $5-$12.

Mapleton will have their fireworks go off around 10 p.m. following a performance from the band The Party Crashers. The city's website touts the firework show as rivaling the Stadium of Fire. The events will take place at the Ira Allan Park located at 1728 S. 800 West.

Spanis h Fork Fiesta Days will have fireworks after the rodeo on the 24th. They will begin approximately around 10:30 p.m at the Sports Park.

Juab County:

Residents claim this fireworks show in Mona is as mighty as any other across the state. The show starts at the city park, 100 North and Main Street, at dark after a day of festivities.

Sanpete County:

Fairview will hold their 29th annual Demolition Derby at the Rodeo Grounds with fireworks following.

Sterling's fireworks show will begin at dusk following a day full of family friendly activities and entertainment.

Sevier County:

Monroe will have a fireworks show on the 24 starting at 9:30 following a concert by ‘Borderline' beginning at 8:30. On the 26 Monroe will also have fireworks at 9:30.

Sigurd celebrates the 24 with a potluck dinner at the town's park beginning at 6 p.m. A fireworks show will follow.

Redmond will have its annual dinner and fireworks starting at dark on the 23.

Piute County:

Marysvale on the 23 there will be a dinner sponsored by the Boy Scouts at the town pavilion. Fireworks will follow the dinner at dark.

Garfield County:

Escalante Pioneer Days sets off fireworks at 10 p.m.

Washington County:

Washington City Community Center will have an open swim, vendors and food. The fireworks will begin at 9:30 p.m. This celebration is part of the Days of ’47 Dixie Celebration.

And if you're putting on your own fireworks show, North Tooele County Fire District warns citizens to be cautious.

"Please use caution and common sense with fireworks this week. Fire conditions are high and the possibility of extreme fire behavior is considerable. Local and State resources are stretched thin. Help from the public is critical to minimize the risk of additional fire incidents."
