SALT LAKE CITY— Police are investigating the death of a woman whose body was found in a hotel Thursday morning.
At about 9:12 a.m., officers responded to a call from hotel management at the Royal Garden Inn, located at 154 W. 600 South, where they found the body of a 34-year-old woman, according to the Salt Lake City Police Department.
Officers called in homicide investigators to help with the investigation of the woman's death they call "suspicious."
The State Medical Examiner will perform an autopsy to determine the cause and manner of her death, police said.
Police said the woman's identity would be released once detectives notify her family.
