PARK CITY — A woman was arrested after assaulting her mother, brother and an officer Wednesday evening, police said.

Park City Police Department Capt. Phil Kirk said the incident occurred around 6:30 p.m. in the Bear Hollow area in Summit County. A woman got into a “serious argument” with her mother and hit her several times with closed fists, Kirk said.

After the fight, the woman drove to the Park City Medical Center to receive treatment. When her brother arrived to help her, she attempted to hit him with her vehicle while she was hurrying to drive away, Kirk said. The Summit County Sheriff’s Office was contacted and officers attempted to locate the woman. She was identified as Kacy Bryce, according to Summit County Sheriff’s Office Capt. Justin Martinez.

Bryce returned to her home and when an officer arrived on the scene, he found her inside her vehicle in the driveway, Martinez said. The officer approached Bryce to talk to her about the domestic violence situation, but Martinez said she wouldn’t open the door of her vehicle. Deputies opened the door and Bryce began to assault one of the deputies.

Bryce was arrested and booked into the Summit County Jail. She was arrested on suspicion of aggravated assault and assault on a police officer.
