WOODS CROSS — A man was hospitalized Tuesday afternoon after a shooting in Woods Cross.
Police said they found a 23-year-old hispanic male walking down 1300 South with gunshot wounds.
Officer said they found blood on the front porch of the home. They said the injured man was acting uncooperative when they arrived on the scene and no one was in the home where he is believed to have been shot.
The victim was transported to the hospital where he was rushed into surgery.
Woods Cross resident, Abbey Strong, said she called 911 when she heard screaming coming from a home a few houses down from hers. While she was on the phone with dispatch, she said she saw a man covered in blood walking down the street.
Officers have not been able to gather much information as to what happened before the shooting.
