PAGE, Ariz. — A flash flood in Arizona was caught on camera Friday afternoon.
Outside of Page, Arizona heavy rains overtook drainage pipes under Highway 89, leaving a huge mess at the local Maverik gas station and an amazing sight for onlookers.
More than 4 inches of rain fell in the area, causing the flash flood. Road crews estimate that nearly two feet of mud ended up on the road.
"We stopped to get gas and I could see a bunch of water running behind the Maverik," said one Maverik customer. "We went walking back there and it was like a river running behind the Maverik."
