SALT LAKE CITY — We'll take a closer look at "The Decider," Justice Anthony Kennedy and why many legal scholars believe we are living in his world. Plus, we'll discuss mental illness among our youth. Hear from a family who is using their heartbreak to help others. And, Utah is getting a new federal building. Doug Wright offers his opinion on what it should be named, all in this Sunday Edition.

Segment 1

Now that the Supreme Court has ruled on same-sex marriage, attention is turning to Utah's Amendment 3 and the federal lawsuit. Richard Piatt discussed the status of that case with veteran reporter Dennis Romboy of the Deseret News. They also discussed the man in the middle of DOMA—Justice Anthony Kennedy.

Segment 2

Mental illness can exact a heavy toll on families and what most people don't realize is that half of all lifetime cases begin by age 14 and 75% by age 24. Many families don't know where to turn for help. And mental health resources can be especially difficult to find in rural areas. Carole Mikita shares a Nephi family's courageous effort to spare other families their same heartache and grief.

State officials are concerned about the impact mental illness is having on families. Earlier this year the Division of Substance Abuse and Mental Health teamed up with NAMI to promote mental health around the state. The Prevention By Design Project went into effect in January and is helping local communities prioritize mental health community needs based on existing resources and gaps. Richard Piatt discussed the project with NAMI program manager Kim Meyers.

Segment 3

Utah's new federal courthouse building is almost finished but it needs a name. Doug Wright offers his opinion on who should get the honor.
