ALBUQUEQUE — The AMC TV series "Breaking Bad" is getting ready to air its final season in a few months and the show's finale has been under lock and key, but the secret of the show's ending may be in jeopardy.

Earlier this year "Breaking Bad" star Bryan Cranston reported someone had broken into his car that was on set and stole a bag. Reportedly an iPad and a copy of a "Breaking Bad" script were in the bag.

Television news station KOAT reported that someone contacted Cranston's assistant claiming they overheard a man bragging about breaking into a car and stealing a "Breaking Bad" script.

Police arrested Xavier McAfee for the burglary last week, but no script has been recovered.

When KOAT contacted Sony Pictures about the missing script a representative said that as far as they knew no scripts were stolen. The representative went on to tell KOAT they are not worried about any confidential information leaking online or elsewhere.

The final season of "Breaking Bad" is scheduled to premiere on July 15, 2013 on AMC.
