KEARNS — Police were looking for three men who allegedly fired three shots into the home of an elderly woman.

About 9:45 p.m. Monday, three men went to the door of a residence near 5200 S. and 4400 West and asked for a person who reportedly used to live there, said Unified Police Lt. Justin Hoyal.

An elderly woman who answered the door told the men that person did not live there, Hoyal said. As the three men were driving away, they fired three shots at the house, striking the interior walls, he said.

The woman described the men as three Polynesian males last seen driving away in a dark-colored passenger car, Hoyal said. Anyone with information can call police at 801-743-7000.
