Andrew Adams, KSL NewsradioThe angel Moroni is at the center of a controversy after it showed up in ads and on t-shirts for a Taylorsville coffee house. Now, it's is ruffling some feathers at LDS church headquarters.

At Just add Coffee the joe is selling, and so are the controversial T-shirts. "Yesterday I think we sold like 15 or 20 of them, " co-owner Ed Beazer says. "There's the hand of God coming out of the clouds pouring coffee into his trumpet. That's about it." It features angel Moroni as the coffee drinker.

"We even had some missionaries. We had two missionaries come in yesterday to get milkshakes, they looked at it and they busted up laughing," Beazer said.

The LDS Curch isn't laughing. It says the business is hawking a registered trademark. The owners call the image a joke, but they've pulled their ads.
