KRASNAYA POLYANA, Russia (AP) - Start times for the Olympic women's giant slalom on Tuesday have been pushed forward by 90 minutes.

Race organizers say the first run will now begin at 9.30 a.m. (0530 GMT) and the second at 1 p.m. (0900 GMT).

Rain and snow is forecast to begin falling on Tuesday morning and continue through the afternoon.

After days of sunshine in the mountains, temperatures of zero degrees C (32 degrees F) are expected at race time.

Four years ago, the women's giant slalom was raced over two days because of weather problems.
