CHESTER, Pa. (AP) — Star midfielder Christian Pulisic will be part of the U.S. roster when the Americans play Bolivia in a May 28 exhibition in the Philadelphia suburbs.

"That's so close to my home and a lot of my family will be there," Pulisic said in a video released by the U.S. Soccer Federation after interim American coach Dave Sarachan made the announcement Wednesday.

Pulisic, who is from Hershey, Pennsylvania, has not played for the national team since the loss at Trinidad and Tobago in October that eliminated the U.S. from qualifying for this year's World Cup.

The U.S. starts practice in Philadelphia on May 21, but the 19-year-old Pulisic will not report until after his German club, Borussia Dortmund, plays a postseason exhibition at LAFC on May 22.

The Americans also play at Ireland on June 2 and at France on June 9.
