OAKLAND, Calif. (AP) — It wasn't a White Out, a Black Out or a Blue Out at Oracle Arena on Tuesday night. It was a Craig Out.

The Golden State Warriors and San Antonio Spurs honored TNT sideline reporter Craig Sager during their season opener. The Warriors put a white T-shirt on every chair in the arena with a cartoon version of Sager, the beloved reporter who is battling leukemia.

In pregame warmups, several coaches wore brightly colored shirts in a nod to the outlandish suits that Sager is known for wearing to work.

Warriors coach Steve Kerr and Spurs coach Gregg Popovich also wore brightly colored Sager ties during the game.

Popovich calls Sager "an iconic and weird and wonderful guy all at the same time, and I mean that lovingly."
