NEW YORK (AP) — Carmelo Anthony is sitting out the Knicks' game against Houston because of an illness.

The Knicks said Lance Thomas would start in Anthony's place Sunday night.

Anthony has played in all 17 games this season, leading the Knicks with 22.1 points per game. He was held to 11 points on 4-of-13 shooting in a 97-78 loss to Miami on Friday.
