EAGAN, Minn. (AP) — The Minnesota Vikings enter the second day of the NFL draft with the 62nd and 94th overall picks and a pressing need on the offensive line.

With their second and third round selections Friday, the Vikings will look hard at filling a spot up front to help protect new quarterback Kirk Cousins. Only six offensive linemen were taken in the first round Thursday, when the Vikings picked Central Florida cornerback Mike Hughes.

The Vikings used their third-rounder in 2017 on center Pat Elflein, who stepped in as an immediate starter. The last time the Vikings took an offensive lineman in the first three rounds in consecutive years was 2005 and 2006.
