Harvard pass rusher moves to head of Colts' free agent class

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — The Colts have signed 15 undrafted rookies, including Harvard linebacker Zachary Hodges, the 2013 Ivy League defensive player of the year.

The other signees, announced Monday, are Southeastern Louisiana quarterback Bryan Bennett; receivers Quan Bray of Auburn and Ezell Ruffin of San Diego State; cornerbacks Donald Celiscar of Western Michigan, Joshua Mitchell of Nebraska and Al-Hajj Shabazz of West Chester; linebackers Cody Galea of San Diego State, Terrell Hartsfield of Cincinnati and Junior Sylvestre of Toledo; tight ends Jean Sifrin of Massachusetts and Justin Sinz of Purdue; Clemson safety Robert Smith, Yale running back Tyler Varga and Northwestern center Brandon Vitabile.

Indy also released receiver Kadron Boone, defensive end Gannon Conway, running back Jeff Demps and offensive tackle Matt Hall.
