SALT LAKE CITY — Some people are just good.
The people described below, for example, went out of their way to help brighten someone else's day: one with a very special delivery, and the other with a surprise thank-you. Hopefully, their acts of kindness will inspire you.

"I wanted to share a story about the Iceburg (Drive Inn) in St. George, Utah. My dad spoke at his brother's funeral a few weeks ago and told a story about how he would get his three older brothers (all passed away now) to bring him a chocolate shake when they would go out on dates. My dad was quite a bit younger so he was stuck at home.
"My cousin who lives in Salt Lake City decided to call the Iceburg in St. George, where my dad lives, and spoke to the manager there. She asked if they would deliver three chocolate shakes to my dad with a message saying his three brothers were thinking about him and wanted him to know.
"The manager was so excited to be a part of this surprise that he delivered the shakes himself and wouldn't take any extra money for it. My dad was in tears when he called me to tell the story, and he sent me a picture of him and the shakes with a huge smile. I think this is a great story of service and love."

"Tom Seiler ... is donating $1,000 in Taco Amigo gift cards to the Lindon City Police Department as a gift of thanks for the work they do. Tom Seiler has been a prominent member of the community for years. He graduated from BYU with both his undergrad and his Juris Doctorate. He served in the United States Army, has served on multiple legal boards, and is currently a Utah State Bar Commissioner. He wants to give back to his community and those that keep it safe."
