(AP) - The 81-18 roll call Wednesday by which the Senate passed and sent to the House legislation to avoid a threatened federal default and end the 16-day partial government shutdown.

A "yes" vote is a vote to pass the measure.

Voting yes were 52 Democrats, 27 Republicans and 2 independents.

Voting no were 0 Democrats and 18 Republicans.
