The Loveland Living Planet Aquarium is offering four new summer camps this summer. The classes are available to kindergartners all the way up to 9th graders. Classes are available June through August. Aquarium members can get a discount on summer classes until May 15th.

CSI: Creature Science Investigators

Whodunit? Children will become immersed in a mystery during their first day of camp. Using clues left behind by a variety of animals, each camper will need to evaluate all the evidence, interview witnesses and suspects, solve the puzzle, and determine who's to blame. Join us for four days of fun crafts, games, multiple behind the scenes explorations, and a variety of live animal encounters. Let the mystery begin!

Perfect Predators

Snakes, Penguins, and Otters, OH MY!! No matter what the animal, this camp is full of fun and games that all relate back to survival of the predator. What does it take to be the top of the food chain? How do different predators catch their food? Why are we so fascinated with these hunters? Be the first to sign up and see for yourself as we take you behind the scenes to see animals in a variety of different environments. This camp also includes games, crafts, and animal encounters to enhance the fun.

MBIT: Marine Biologist In Training

Have you ever wanted to work with ocean life? Ever wondered the difference between caring for a freshwater system and a saltwater system? If so then this is the camp for you! We will be learning what it takes to keep a 300,000 gallon exhibit running, taking water quality tests, helping to care for marine animals, and more. Come join us for the chance of a lifetime and begin your exciting adventure with our indoor ocean. See what it takes to be a real marine biologist for the week.

Shark Sleuths

Did you know that the largest shark in the world doesn't use its teeth? Or that Tiger Sharks become predators before they're even born? Learn even more fun facts during Shark Week!! What better way to celebrate than a summer camp all about sharks! Join us for four days of shark games, activities, crafts and behind the scenes opportunities, if that's something you can sink your teeth into.
