We have been dealing with our fair share of wildfires here in Utah, but central Washington has been fighting the state's largest wildfire ever and a drone cam has captured it all. Lightning sparked the fire and has burned more than 400 square miles. A video production company Chelan HD caught this sprawling, shocking aerial footage. We've seen many companies try to deal with how to take selfies...better! CaseCam is the latest, using a flip out mirror. Using the mirror, the phone can see what's in front of it and you can use an app on another phone to see what the phone is seeing. That way you can get it perfectly framed. CaseCam is on Kickstarter right now for a pledge of $25. And finally, the book, The Giver, is on many schools' recommended reading lists, I read it a few years ago with my 5th graders and now the movie is coming out. But the New York premiere is gamified. It's a "Movie Premiere for Good" contest. To compete you have to launch a fundraising campaign on Crowdrise. The more money you raise, the better seat you get, closer to the cast, including Meryl Streep and Katie Holmes. The money raised will benefit the arts and you have until August 1st.
