THE GYM — Watching gymnasts is always something that makes my jaw drop in amazement.

No matter what they're doing, the strength and talent required for basically every level of gymnastics are super impressive to me. And on top of all that, they usually make it look so easy. Backflips, front flips, balancing, twisting your entire body through midair — pretty difficult stuff that gymnasts manage to make look as easy as a walk in the park.

That's especially true of gymnast Ashley Watson, who recently broke the world record for farthest backflip between horizontal bars.

Watson is a 26-year-old British gymnast. In this video, you can see him break the record by flying through almost 20 feet of air as he flips from one horizontal bar to the next. And although Watson manages to complete the 19-foot, 3.1-inch jump and make it look like no big deal, it wasn't until his sixth attempt that he was able to break the record, according to the Guardian.

So enjoy the video. It's impressive and goes by in a flash, but I have no doubt that years and years of effort and hard work led to Watson accomplishing this feat.
