THE INTERNET — Raise your hand if you grew up in Utah and your parents made you take music lessons.

I can’t see the results of this lazy poll, but I can say that 100 percent of the people typing this article right now and all of their siblings took piano lessons for one to several years. And I can say that 50 percent of that group also took lessons for other musical instruments. Additionally, at least 80 percent of this group’s neighbors took music lessons, and the local grade school had all the kids learn to play the recorder.

Without any certainty or real data sets, I will now conclude that Utah is probably up there when it comes to private or school-based music lessons per capita. What does this have to do with fun internet videos? Not much. Which brings us to the video featured in this article.

Sometimes music isn’t about how much training or lessons you have. Sometimes it’s about feeling a beat and having an identical twin that also has an all-in attitude. This scenario is exactly what we’re going to enjoy today.

The stars of this video are twin boys in Carcar City, Cebu, Philippines, who start the video off just being goofy goofs. But don’t let that fool you. Soon these boys use their hands and mouths in a sort of modified beat box performance like nothing I’ve personally seen before.

This video is several months old, but it’s the kind of thing you just can’t ignore when you come across it.

The boys are performing a DJ Martin Garrix song called “Animals.” You can year the popping-like section that the boys perform starting at the 1:50 mark.
