THE COUCH — Cat people, dog people, can’t we all just get along?
Since this weird, meaningless debate has been going on for decades, probably not. But for those of us who like all animals, it doesn’t matter what species star in the internet videos we love. We will watch, laugh, and cry at all the sweet creatures.
But I have a feeling that no matter what side of any animal debate you’re on, everyone who hasn’t had their soul surgically removed will like this featured video starring and little girl named Abby and her 14-year-old cat named Bailey.
In the video, Abby is getting and giving and getting the best sleepy cat snuggles. But what makes this interaction so special is that she sings a lullaby just for Bailey.
“You are my sunshine, my only sunshine,” she sings to Bailey softly as she pets him tenderly.
It’s simple, sweet and pure, and it’s probably the most wholesome thing you’ll see on the internet for at least the next 10 minutes.
