KEWANEE, Ill. — Friends of a man given months to live have turned to strangers to help the man fulfill his last wish: to give his fiancee her dream honeymoon at Disney World.

Nolan Keane, 28, was diagnosed four years ago with stage four glioblastoma multiforme, a quickly growing brain cancer. The cancer has now spread to most of his brain, and doctors do not expect him to live beyond this year.

Undeterred, he proposed to Morgan Carstens last year. The couple will get married Saturday thanks to "the kindness of others and services donated," according to their fundraising page.*

Carstens quit her job to take care of Keane, and Keane wants to do something special for her: take her to Disney World, where he proposed, one last time.

"They would love to be able to share this experience with their whole family to create happy moments for Nolan and wonderful memories for Morgan and the family," the fundraising page says.

By Tuesday morning, the original goal of $20,000 had been tripled, with 27 days left until the fundraiser's end. Many commenters on the page left well wishes and prayers. Some told of similar trials.

"Morgan, I know exactly what you're going through. ... It's incredibly hard, but you have to be a brave girl to go through what you have," wrote Shawna Gulley. "I'm 28, so I know what it's like to be a young widow after going down this road with the love of your life."

In an email to the Huffington Post, Carstens' sister, Jaclyn Carstens, said the couple "truly define(s) love and commitment."

"When they look at one another you can see the incredible love they have for each other," she said. "They never ask for anything and deserve an incredible honeymoon (to) help forget about the bad things, even if it is for a moment."
