EAGLE MOUNTAIN — Another man has been arrested in connection with a group that allegedly fired six rounds into an Eagle Mountain house and five more into a vehicle parked in the driveway.
Daniel Moreno-Yepiz, 19, of Orem, was booked into the Utah County Jail on Thursday for investigation of three counts of aggravated assault and 11 counts of discharge of a firearm.
Moreno's arrest marks the seventh adult arrested in connection with the Dec. 6 incident, plus at least one juvenile.
On Monday, six others were charged in 4th District Court.
Based on information collected from the prior arrests, police went to Moreno's home on Thursday, according to a police affidavit.
"Daniel stood at the front door of his home with his father. Daniel was read his Miranda rights and stated he understood these rights. When asked if he wished to talk with me, Daniel stated he did not wish to answer any questions at this time," the affidavit states.
Moreno was then arrested and transported to the jail.
